How Often Should I See a Chiropractor?

There are really no set rules on how often someone should go see a chiropractor. It differs from person to person. Some people go as frequently as once a week, while others go once a month. The frequency of how often you go generally depends on what you are going for. Someone with chronic pain in their neck or back might only go when they feel pain, while someone with an injury will usually go more frequently.
The best thing to do when you’re dealing with any pain that requires chiropractic services is to make an appointment with a chiropractor to talk about it. Some sports injuries may require frequent follow-up visits to make sure the patient is getting the most out of their chiropractic services and recovering well. The same thing applies when a patient comes in after being in a car accident. However, chronic aches and pains are often not the same. Most chiropractors will schedule the next appointment the day they see each patient. Any patient with chronic pain should see a chiropractor at least once a month to be adjusted. If the patient’s chronic pain is more severe, their chiropractor may recommend that they come more frequently. The frequency at which you receive chiropractic care varies on a case-by-case basis.
